About the authors

"James W. Tamm is a writer, speaker, instructor, and consultant with expertise in negotiation, collaboration, and conflict resolution. He served for 25 years as a Superior Court Judge of Administrative Law for the Public Employment Relations Board of the State of California, where he has mediated over 1,500 labor disputes and resolved more educational sector strikes than anyone else in the United States."

He is currently the president of RC Group LLC, a member of the Leadership Academy at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and of the International Executive Program at the Stockholm School of Economics. He has been a professor in the Talent Development Program at Harvard University and at Santa Clara University School of Law. He is a speaker, consultant, and co-author of the book and program Radical Collaboration®

Ronald J. Luyet is a co-founder of The Green Zone Culture Group and a senior consultant at Business Consultants of Japan. He is a consultant, instructor, and psychotherapist who has advised Fortune 500 companies for over forty years.

He specializes in building high-performance teams and developing collaboration skills. He has worked with great pioneers of the human potential movement, such as Dr. Carl Rogers and Dr. Will Schutz. He is the co-author of the book and training program Radical Collaboration®
Along with Jim Tamm. He has delivered executive training programs for major organizations worldwide, including Boeing, Procter & Gamble, Eli Lilly, Idaho Power, as well as for NASA, the United Nations, and the United States Army.

NASA's STS-125 space mission crew members were trained in the concepts and tools

by Radical Collaboration®

This crew was trained by Jim Tamm and Ron Luyet as part of the NASA Management Education Program. The 2009 STS-125 mission was the last solo launch of the space shuttle Atlantis. The objective of this mission was to install two new instruments on the Hubble Space Telescope: the Cosmic Origins Spectrograph and the Wide Field Camera 3; as well as the replacement of mechanical and electronic parts. The shuttle landed on May 24, 2009 at 15:39 local time; after orbiting the Earth for 12 days, 21 hours, 37 minutes and 9 seconds. The seven-member crew was in excellent health. The mission was a complete success.
